Yesterday, 12 children from Year 6 headed to the NSC to take part in the National Primary Schools' Badminton Festival. Up against some quality opposite, all involved held their own and it was pleasing to see their skills develop throughout the afternoon. They finished the festival in style, ending with three straight victories! Most notable though was their sporting behaviour and attitude. They exemplified sportsmanship throughout and played with great pride in representing the school. Today, in assembly, they all received certificates with details of local clubs - I hope they all take the opportunity to continue to practice their skills!
