It was with great pride that Ashley Hill children took part in the annual Remembrance events during the weekend of 11th and 12th November. Children from Year 6 read poems on the Saturday morning during a short service in the garden of Remembrance at St Peter's Church. This was followed by a gathering at the War Memorial for the two minute silence at 11am.
The following day, Year 6s performed readings as part of the Remembrance Sunday event, and lay a wreath at the memorial.
These events are so important for children to pay their respects to those who sacrificed so much for us today.
