Our Cross Country squad ventured down to Noble's Park today to take part in the annual Primary Schools' Cross Country Championships. Always a highlight of the sporting calendar, this year's event involved 27 schools and over 300 children. The Ashley Hill squad had high hopes heading into the event, having had successful training sessions on our lower field for several weeks. The squad performed remarkably well with individual highlights including 5th place finishes for Charlie Maiden and Lorelei Wilson in the boys and girls races. It was in the team event that Ashley Hill shone, their accumulation of points meant the Boys Team came first, the Girls Team came first and, therefore, it was no surprise that Ashley Hill were the overall winners of the 2026 Championships. Congratulations to the whole squad for this deserved success!
