Two archeologists from Leicester and Newcastle Universities visited us. They told the Year 3 children about a dig they are currently doing in Kirk Michael. The children had a go at carefully cleaning objects found in the ground. Then they had a close look at the objects, tried to match pieces together, identify what they are made from, how old they are and how they might have been used many years ago. It was great fun!
