Our Year 5 children prepared a wonderful event for families last Wednesday afternoon. As part of their World War 2 topic, they set up a VE Day celebration event. This included an afternoon tea with food prepared by the children, decorations, music and dancing. This was a perfect opportunity for the children to showcase their talents. As part of the event, the children invited families to make donations and were amazed to make £300 which will be given to our friends at the Aviation Museum. Well done to all the staff and children in Year 5!
