Today marked the start of a new initiative for children from Ashley Hill, as we establish a link to one of our local residential home. At the top of Victoria Road, Summerhill Residential Home is a new development, and they were delighted to see the happy faces of 12 children from classes at Ashley Hill. The purpose of these weekly visits is to build a relationship with places in our community whilst giving the children the chance to talk to people from a different generation. Whilst there, the children showed the residents their learning and introduced them to some games, such as 'Avocado Smash' and 'Connect Four'!
