Charlotte Wilkinson, Taylor Hodgson and Jemma Quayle took to the stage at Ballacottier Primary School to represent us in the Primary Schools' Public Speaking Contest last night (Monday 12th March). The team did tremendously well, and can be very proud of their efforts. Feedback from the judges was extremely positive, noting how clear, calm and composed our team was. Charlotte's speech, 'Beanz Meanz Heinz' went down very well amongst the judges and audience alike. The standard throughout the competition was very high and our congratulations go to St Johns Primary School for winning the top prize. Special mention must go to Taylor though, who won a special award, commending his performance as Chairperson in the Ashley Hill team. Charlotte, Taylor and Jemma should be very proud, not only for performing so well on stage, but for representing the school in such an excellent way.
