Animals, animals and more animals

Published Wednesday 1 March 2023

I'm sure you'll all be aware of the school's affection for wildlife and animals. This week, we've reached new heights in our care and understanding, with the introduction of a dozen chicks, hatched since the weekend and well cared for outside our staffroom. In addition to this, we have had the pleasure of Penny, a meg lamb, joining us to support children's understanding of the important early days of an animals growth and development. All children have shown incredible compassion and no little curiosity about these animals! A huge thank you to Alfie & Hollie Faragher's family for the loan of Penny for the day.
