Today, our Year 5 children visited Government House. The visit came after the Lieutenant Governor, Sir John Lorimer, came to Ashley Hill in May to lead an assembly for all children. In the assembly he extended an invitation to Government House and Mrs Clague took him up on it! Whilst there, His Excellency spoke to the children about his role on the island and then the children were given the chance to tour around the house, completing a quiz whilst they walked. The morning finished with a tour of the garden with juice and biscuits. The children were engrossed throughout and we'd like to extend a huge thanks to His Excellency and Lady Lorimer for making us feel so welcome.
