Today (Thursday 16th June) 11 of our Year 6s visited the NSC to take part in the Queen's Baton Relay. The baton plays an important role in spreading the word about the Commonwealth Games, due to take place in Birmingham in July and August. All children ran a lap with IOM Athlete, Rachael Franklin, who held the baton on their way around. The children had a great time and enjoyed playing their part in the experience.
