Today (October 1st) the Year 4/5 classes were lucky enough to have a fantastic visit from Hector Duff. They listened to him describe his experience of WW2 including his time as a 'desert rat' and his involvement in the D-Day landings. The children had the chance to ask him questions about what is was like to be in service during WW2. We are sure the children gained a great deal from the opportunity to spend time with Mr Duff and listen to his fascinating recollections of this significant historical event.
