Today (Monday 5th March) we welcomed Bill Dale in to talk to the whole school about Beach Buddies and the impact litter has on our environment. He showed the children some images of animals that had been affected by plastic and tin cans and, needless to say, the children and staff were shocked to see the damage we're doing to our environment. This continues the school's effort to recycle plastic and Bill has invited us to contribute to a World Record attempt in the near future, by getting primary schools to join in with a Beach clean in Douglas. Watch this space on that one!
