Year 5 & 6 children took part in our annual inter-school Public Speaking Competition. Twelve competitors were involved and the standard was extraordinarily high. Topics ranged from Inventions to Autism and Owls to David Walliams. Needless to say, all involved can be extremely proud of themselves for speaking so passionately about their subject and demonstrating how much hard work and preparation had gone into the event. Our judges, Mrs North and Mrs Bairstow, noted how difficult it was to decide on a top three. After much deliberation, they concluded that Jemma Quayle (3rd), Charlotte Wilkinson (2nd) and Taylor Hodgson (1st) should take the top prizes and go onto our national event at Ballacottier School in March. Well done to everyone involved!
