Today (Wednesday 3rd May) saw our swimming squad take part in the Primary Schools' Dolphin Swimming Gala. This is the first time the event has taken place since 2019 and it's certainly pleasing to see it back on the sporting calendar for our children. Like the Cross Country event last week, this competition is always extremely exciting and gives the children the opportunity to challenge themselves against other schools of a similar size and also to compete with the nerves that they will undoubtedly face on the start line. Our squad did incredibly well, demonstrating plenty of talent and determination. Whilst children were swimming individually, this was a real squad effort, with our reserves playing their part to cheer on every team mate. After all the results were in, Ashley Hill finished a fantastic 2nd overall and received a shield to display at school. Well done to the whole squad and thanks to all parents for their support!
